Rockets Beat Giants 5-3 at the Pacific Coliseum

The Kelowna Rockets snapped a 3 all tie with 2 third period goals en route to a 5-3 win over Vancouver, as Kelowna won for the 8th time in 9 games.

Colten Martin’s powerplay goal 7 minutes into the third gave the Rockets the lead and Dylan McKinley added a shorthanded insurance marker 5 minutes later. It was the Langley, B.C. native’s 2nd goal of the night.

Cody Fowlie and Tyrell Goulbourne had the other Rocket goals.

Trevor Cheek, Carter Popoff and Cain Franson scored for Vancouver.


Tyler Fuhr faced 19 shots in net for Vancouver and the Giants outshot the Rockets 27-19.
