Giants Lose at Home to Kamloops

The Vancouver Giants lost 4-1 to the Kamloops Blazers at the Pacific Coliseum Sunday night.

The teams were tied at one going into the third period thanks to goals from Cain Franson and Chase Souto in the second period. The Giants were given two penalties late in the second, with the two-man advantage for the Blazers carrying over to the third period.

Kamloops scored two powerplay goals 13 seconds apart early in the third period to help the Blazers to a 4-1 win.


Vancouver was outshot 36-25 and Payton Lee made 32 saves.
