Giants Lose 3-1 to the Prince George Cougars

The Prince George Cougars scored two goals 25 seconds apart in the second period en route to a 3-1 win over the Vancouver Giants Sunday night at the Pacific Coliseum.

Carter Popoff opened the scoring in the game late in the first period.

Klarc Wilson scored an empty net goal in the dying seconds of the final frame to seal the deal for the Cougars.

Payton Lee made 23 saves and the Giants had 42 shots on goal.
