Giants Lose 2-1 in Overtime to Seattle

The Vancouver Giants continue to work overtime on their 4 game road trip.

Luke Lockhart scored the game winning goal shorthanded in overtime to give Seattle a 2-1 win over the Giants on Sunday night.

It was the 3rd OT game of the weekend for Vancouver who beat Seattle on Friday and lost to Portland on Saturday.

Special teams won the game for Seattle, they scored a power play goal in the 2nd and killed off all 6 Giants power plays while scoring the game winner short handed on a double minor late in the third that carried over into the extra period.

Brendan Rouse had the Vancouver goal, while Payton Lee had another solid game in net stopping 34 of 36 shots directed his way.

Vancouver is now 1-0-2 on their four game road trip, and they have extend their road point streak to 4 games with two wins and two OT losses in their last 4 games away from home.

This trip wraps up on Tuesday in Tri City. Game time is 7 PM, the pre game on Team 1410 is at 6:30.
