Giants Get Shut Out by Oil Kings

The Edmonton Oil Kings scored twice in the first period en route to a 3-0 win over the Vancouver Giants Tuesday night at the Pacific Coliseum.

Cody Corbett had a goal and an assist for Edmonton and Oil Kings’ goalie Tristan Jarry stopped all 37 Vancouver shots for the shutout.

Vancouver went 0-for-4 on the power play and was perfect on the penalty kill, killing off all 5 penalties.

Payton Lee made 24 saves for the Giants.
