Giants Fall 6-1 to Blades

The Saskatoon Blades scored 5 goals in the third period en route to a 6-1 win over the Vancouver Giants Wednesday night at the Credit Union Centre.

Nick Zajac had two goals and an assist on the night for Saskatoon and scored his first goal to break a one-all tie just two minutes after the Giants tied the game in the third.

Thrower scored the lone goal for Vancouver against his former team.

Payton Lee made 28 saves for Vancouver and the Giants killed off 8-of-9 penalties.
