Giants Down Blazers 5-1

Scott Cooke scored on the power play halfway into the second period to break a one all tie en route to a 5-1 victory over the Kamloops Blazers Sunday afternoon at the Bill Copeland Arena.

Ty Ronning had a goal and an assist for Vancouver. Joel Hamilton, Travis McEvoy and Blake Orban scored the others. Alec Baer had two assists in the game.

Payton Lee made 28 saves for Vancouver and the Giants went 1-for-5 on the power play.
