The Vancouver Giants beat Victoria 3-1 Saturday night at the Pacific Coliseum for the 5th win in 7 hockey games.
Jackson Houck snapped a 1 all tie and scored the game winner 8 minutes into the 3rd period.
Houck later added his 22nd goal of the year into an empty net.
The Giants were down 1-0 after just 34 seconds after Jamie Crooks scored on a Royals power play, but Carter Popoff got that one back 3 minutes later and the game stayed tied until Houck did the damage in the 3rd period.
The Giants have just 3 games left in their season and faceoff with Prince George Sunday March 10 at 4 p.m. at the Pacific Coliseum.
