Giants Beat Prince Albert 5-1

The Vancouver Giants snapped a 6 game losing streak with a commanding 5-1 win at home over the Prince Albert Raiders Wednesday night.

Vancouver scored three goals less than 3 minutes apart in the first period to take a 3-0 lead after one.

Arvin Atwal scored his first ever WHL goal and Jackson Houck scored two for the Giants.  Brendan Rouse and Carter Popoff had the others.

Giants’ goalie Jared Rathjen stopped 23 shots and Vancouver had 57 shots on goal.
