Gallagher Scores In Lopsided Win Over Denmark

Brendan Gallagher scored his 2nd goal of the tournament helping Canada to an easy 10-2 victory over Denmark at the World Junior Championships in Edmonton. Canada improves to 3-0 with the victory and will finish up round robin play New Year’s Eve vs. the USA. Brandon Wheat Kings forward Mark Stone continues his stellar play; he scored 2 more goals to give him 6 in the tournament. With the victory Don Hay is now 10-0 as a head coach all-time at the World Junior Championships.

David Musil and the Czech Republic (1-1) will take on the USA (1-1) December 30 at 12:30 pm in Edmonton.

Marek Tvrdon and Slovakia (1-1) face off against Sweden (2-0) December 30 at 2:30 pm in Calgary.
