A Vimy Ridge Tale: Giants Fan Dons Commemorative Jersey At Canadian Historic Site

The Cameron Family

The month of November is synonymous with Remembrance in Canada.

The Vancouver Giants and all of their Western Hockey League brethren have, over the years, come up with many ways to commemorate and celebrate the brave heroes of today and the past.

In 2017 the Vancouver Giants paid homage to military heroes by wearing limited edition, Vimy Ridge themed jerseys in a home game against the Kamloops Blazers.

Those beautiful jerseys were designed by Langley Events Centre Motion Graphics Coordinator Cody Cameron.

Recently, Ryan and Kim Cameron (Cody’s parents) paid a visit to the Canadian National Vimy Memorial site in France. Fittingly, Ryan decided to wear the Giants Vimy Ridge themed jersey (designed by his son) during their visit.

The Cameron family have generously shared their photos (posted below) from Vimy Ridge with the Vancouver Giants, which we felt compelled to share with our great fans.

The Vancouver Giants would like to thank Ryan, Kim and Cody Cameron for sharing these photos with us.
