For today’s Vancouver Giants Community Partner Profile, we are pleased to showcase our new partnership with the Red Truck Beer Company. Located on East 1st Avenue in Vancouver, the Red Truck Beer Company has a valuable, honest story to tell. The following is a Q & A with Sofia Hosseinnia, Marketing & Events Coordinator with the Red Truck Beer Company.
1) Tell us about the “mission” of your business as it pertains to your customers and the community organizations that you sponsor and support?
When we ask “who should we brew this beer for?” our default answer is the people. We are a team of relentlessly resourceful people. No one at Red Truck Beer is the kind of “manager” who doesn’t do hands on work. When we believe something needs an update, a change, or a fix, we start doing it. And then we ship the freshest beer on four wheels. Values are good (we’d even call them sacred). But values don’t build things. People build things. That’s why we put our values to work and hand build our products.
2) How long have you been partnering with the Vancouver Giants? Why is this partnership important to you?
The partnership started during the 2019/20 season. We believe in supporting local businesses and sporting activities. We feel that the Vancouver Giants and Langley Events Centre aligns with our philosophy on this.
3) Do you have a favourite Vancouver Giants player/memory?
Bowen Byram for his overall leadership.
4) What do you want your customers/our fans to know about the current state of your business?
On June 25th our Truck Stop Diner will re-open with the appropriate restrictions and protocol outlined by BC Health Guidelines.
