Trent Miner Makes First Career AHL Start

Sunday night in San Diego, CA Giants goaltender Trent Miner made his professional debut, stopping 26 of 29 shots between the pipes for the AHL’s Colorado Eagles in what ended as a 3-2 overtime loss to the San Diego Gulls.
Last season with the Giants, Miner went 14-11-3 with a 2.76 goals-against average and a .901 save percentage. He was drafted by the Colorado Avalanche in Round 7 of the 2019 NHL Draft which was held in Vancouver.
