GIANTS WIN 4-2 AT HOME FRIDAY

Langley, BC – The Giants, powered by a pair of gaols from Samuel Honzek, continued their momentum from Wednesday and topped the Victoria Royals at the LEC Friday night.

1st Period:

No Scoring.

 

2nd Period:

VAN: Kyren Gronick opened the scoring with his 4th of the year 1:31 into the second period.

VAN: Ty Halaburda made it 2-0 just 0:57 later off a pass that was redirected off the end boards.

VIC: With 14:01 left in the second, Teague Patton got Victoria back into the game with his 13th of the season.

VAN: Samuel Honzek shoveled home a rebound with 2:12 left in the middle frame to make it 3-1 Giants.

3rd Period:

VIC: With 2:21 left in the game, Carter Dereniwsky scored on a bank shot while Victoria had the goalie pulled.

VAN: Honzek responded almost immediately, 0:24 seconds later he scored on a terrific individual effort for his 2nd of the night.
