Giants Acquire 20th Pick; Draft Trent Miner

The Vancouver Giants announced on Tuesday that the hockey club has acquired the 20th overall pick in the 2016 WHL Bantam Draft from the Red Deer Rebels in exchange for a 2016 second round pick (24th overall) and a 2016 third round pick (46th overall). The Giants are also proud to announce that the team has selected goaltender Trent Miner with the 20th overall pick.

Miner, a native of Brandon, Manitoba, posted a 1.52 goals against average in 27 games with the Brandon Wheat Kings Bantam AAA team in the 2015/16 season.
