Byram Named Top D-Man in CSSHL Midget Prep

The Vancouver Giants would like to congratulate prospect defenceman Bowen Byram on being named the Top Defenceman in the Canadian Sport School Hockey League’s Midget Prep Division for the 2016/17 season.

The 15-year-old blue liner finished the regular season with five goals and 24 assists in 20 games with the Yale Hockey Academy. Byram has suited up in 11 WHL games for the Giants this season. Vancouver drafted the Cranbrook native with the third overall pick in the 2016 WHL Bantam Draft.

The Giants are in action on Friday night, visiting the Kelowna Rockets at Prospera Place at 7:35pm.

Vancouver’s final home game of the regular season will be on Saturday evening against the Rockets at the Langley Events Centre. Tickets are still available by calling 604.4.GIANTS (604.444.2687) or clicking here. Puck drop is set for 7:00pm.
