5 GIANTS AT NHL DEVELOPMENT CAMPS

NHL Rookie Development Camps kick off this week, and five members of the 2021/22 Vancouver Giants are present.
Captain Zack Ostapchuk, picked 39th Overall in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft by the Ottawa Senators, is attending their rookie camp after finishing this past season with 43 points in the regular season, followed by an impressive playoff run that included 23 points in only 12 games.
Goaltender Jesper Vikman, picked 125th overall in the 2020 NHL Entry Draft by the Vegas Golden Knights, is present at the Vegas camp after posting a 3.05 GAA and a .903 SV% in his first season in North America with the Giants.
18 year old forward Justin Lies joins Vikman in Vegas for his first NHL Development Camp. Lies posted 16 points and 42 PIM in an injury-shortened 2021/22 season.
Overage forward Adam Hall is in attendance at the Edmonton Oilers Rookie Development Camp, his hometown team. Hall finished third on the Giants in goals with 17 this past season.
Overage defenceman Alex Cotton is attending the Colorado Avalanche Development Camp. Cotton, a Langley native, produced 32 points from the blue line after arriving in a trade from Lethbridge. Cotton also piled up 16 points in 12 playoff games this season.
