The Vancouver Giants would like to congratulate Tim Traber on signing a professional contract with Genève-Servette HC of Switzerland’s National League A.

The 21-year old forward finished his Western Hockey League career with the Giants with a career-high 12 goals and 11 assists (23 points). Traber played five seasons in the WHL, two in Chilliwack and two in Victoria, before coming to Vancouver for his final year.

“It’s a great feeling,” said Traber. “It’s the next step in my career and I’m pretty excited.”
