Tyler Benson is Good to Go

Vancouver Giants captain Tyler Benson will make his 2017-18 season debut tomorrow night for the Vancouver Giants when they play host to the Prince George Cougars at 7:30 PM at the Langley Events Centre.

Per the Vancouver Giants medical staff: Tyler will play in tomorrow night’s game at home along with one of the next two games this weekend taking place in Victoria Saturday (7:05 PM) and Sunday (3:05 PM).

Tomorrow night marks the first home game for the Giants since October 7th. Since then the Giants completed a seven-game road trip through the United States and the Prairies which saw them earn eight of 14 available points. Their 5-5-1-1 record has them tied for second in the B.C. Division standings. Their next seven games will all be against B.C. Division competition.

The first 900 fans in attendance tomorrow night receive a free ‘light up’ stick courtesy of tomorrow’s game night sponsor BCAA. VisionPros will also have a booth on the concourse and are offering 40 percent off glasses and 10 percent off contacts to anybody who brings their prescription with them to the game. All fans are encouraged to bring a toy (or a cash donation) to donate to Operation Christmas Child’s shoebox campaign.
