Defensemen Madison Bowey and Myles Bell opened up a 2-0 lead through 20 minutes for Kelowna, who never looked back. Despite a scoreless second period, the Rockets took over in the third with the help of two long 2-man advantages. Captain Colton Sissons scored in both parts of the first 2-man advantage, and overall the Rockets potted 4 goals in under 4 minutes to put the game out of reach. They would add one more late just after the second 2-man advantage had expired to cap off the scoring at 7-0.
Colton Sissons finished the night with 2 goals and 2 assists while Madison Bowey had his own 2-goal game to go along with an assist. Other goal scorers for Kelowna included Myles Bell, Filip Vasko and Tyson Baillie.

The Giants finished 0 for 5 on the power play while Kelowna went 2 for 5.
This result moves the Giants to 1-4-0-0 on the season while the Rockets are now 2-2-1-0.
