Holt, Semchuk and Plouffe on NHL Central Scouting Midterm Rankings

The Vancouver Giants would like to congratulate Dylan Plouffe, Dawson Holt and Brendan Semchuk on being included in NHL Central Scouting’s midterm rankings ahead of the 2017 NHL Draft.

Plouffe, a defenceman from Sherwood Park, Alberta, was ranked 110th amongst North American skaters. The 17-year-old has scored four goals and 12 assists in 44 games with the Giants this season. He was drafted by Vancouver in the second round of the 2014 WHL Draft.

Holt, a Saskatoon, Saskatchewan native, was listed at 181st amongst North American skaters. The 17-year-old centreman was the eighth overall pick in the 2014 WHL Bantam Draft. He has scored five goals and seven assists in 32 games for the G-Men this season.

Semchuk, a Kamloops product, went 10th overall in the 2014 Bantam Draft. The young winger was ranked 190th amongst North American skaters and has tallied seven goals and nine assists in 43 games for Vancouver this season.
