Giants Lose 7-4 to the Winterhawks

The Portland Winterhawks scored five goals in the second period en route to a 7-4 win over the Vancouver Giants on Brendan Gallagher Night at the Pacific Coliseum.

Tim Traber had two goals for the Giants in the last half of the third period. Trent Lofthouse and Ty Ronning had the other Vancouver goals.

The win is Portland’s 16th straight victory, setting a new team record for longest winning streak.

The Giants had 34 shots on goal and went 2-for-7 on the power play.
