Giants Forward Milos Roman Ready to Impress at 2018 NHL Combine

Chris Relke

Less than a month from now Vancouver Giants forward Milos Roman will be drafted into the NHL.

The talented two-way Slovak is among 104 draft eligible players from around the world who have gathered in Buffalo, NY to participate in the 2018 NHL Combine.

From Monday to Friday, all 31 NHL teams have gathered in Buffalo to conduct interviews with the future stars of the NHL. Following the interview process the players will all undergo physical examinations before the fitness testing component takes place on Saturday.

Roman, fresh off his rookie season, was drafted by the Vancouver Giants sixth overall in the 2017 CHL Import Draft. Though his missed nearly half of his first WHL season due to injury, Roman still contributed in a major way to the Giants success posting 10 goals and 22 assists for 32 points in 39 regular season games. During the playoffs he was one of the Giants top forwards securing three goals and three assists for six points in seven games with a +2 rating. For a second straight winter he also suited up for Slovakia at the World Juniors and scored two goals for his country at the World’s premiere junior hockey tournament.

The 2018 NHL Draft takes place Friday June 22 and Saturday June 23 in Dallas, TX.
